Euroa’s Best Venues to Host Your Next Event

A historic town in Victoria’s stunning high country, Euroa makes for the perfect location for a special event — it’s ideal for locals wanting to keep things close to home, and at less than two hours out of Melbourne, it’s great for out-of-towners looking for a little country charm.
There are so many details that go into planning an event — coming up with bonbonniere ideas for weddings, themes for birthday parties, name tags for corporate events — but not many details are as important as picking the right venue.
The venue sets the tone of the whole event, are you looking for cosy or corporate? Intimate or spacious? Conventional or quirky? Whatever you decide, the venue tells guests what to expect, determines the atmosphere of the occasion, and goes hand-in-hand with many other factors of the event: think food and drinks, technical capabilities, and guest capacity.
If you want to host your event in Euroa but aren’t sure where to start, don’t worry, we’ve made it easy for you with a list of the four best venues in town.

1. Euroa Butter Factory

Originally built in 1902, Euroa Butter Factory is a beautiful site that is full of history, making it the perfect spot for weddings, elegant events, and any occasion in need of a rustic-chic touch.

Just a short walk from town, the Butter Factory features several unique indoor and outdoor spaces, ensuring there is something for everyone. There are two indoor options, one of which holds 100 guests for a seated indoor meal, while the other hosts 40 for an intimate ceremony.
Outdoor options include a large garden that can hold 160 guests at tables, and a smaller garden area that is perfect for ceremonies and cocktail parties.

If you require accommodation for your event, the Euroa Butter Factory is also home to a boutique bed and breakfast with six guest rooms, a shared lounge, and dining areas. Hardwood floors and brick interiors make for a warm and inviting atmosphere.

2. Oaks From Acorns

Oaks From Acorns is a rustic venue perfect for smaller gatherings. It has two main rooms to choose from; The Acorn Room and The Oak Room, which hold up to 60 and 96 people, respectively.
Oaks From Acorns is a BYO and self catering venue, making it perfect for those who want complete control over aspects like the food menu and drink options. The venue does have local and regional businesses it recommends for catering, if you don’t know where to start.
If you’re in need of somewhere to stay before or after your event, Oaks From Acorns also offers loft style accommodation for up to six people — ideal for a wedding party, family getaway, or couple’s escape.

3. Northern Republic

Formerly the Old Flour Mill, Northern Republic is a historical venue with a modern twist. On offer are two unique spaces: the old wine hall and an outdoor garden, both providing welcoming spaces for events like weddings, cocktail and birthday parties, and even corporate functions.
The venue offers a delicious menu of Italian dishes, with a focus on woodfire pizzas and snacks and share plates, as well as an extensive selection of both local and imported Italian wines.
Northern Republic is perfect for party planners looking for a relaxed venue that still feels special and worthy of hosting your celebration.

4. Seven Creeks Hotel

Tailored packages make Seven Creeks Hotel ideal for those looking to customise their event. The venue offers a variety of spaces and packages for weddings, private functions and parties of all sizes.
For weddings in particular, Seven Creeks Hotel makes things easy; dedicated wedding planning services take the stress out of your day and make decision making simple, for the big details and the small.
The venue features a traditional Victorian hotel building, and flexible outdoor spaces. It also sits along the creek and is surrounded by the beautiful nature expected of the high country.
While choosing the right venue is arguably the most important part of planning any event, it doesn’t have to be as overwhelming as it might seem at first.
