SEVERAL trees along Highett St were irreparably damaged last week following an alleged incident of vandalism.
The trees were snapped at the base of their trunks in images which surfaced online last Monday.
The damage occurred on the eastern nature strip outside The Alzburg resort and the center median strip opposite Mansfield District Hospital.
