ALEXANDRA Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after a ute and firefighting equipment was allegedly stolen from the Highlands CFA during a burglary.
Investigators have been told the Highlands-Caveat CFA on Ghin Ghin Road, Highlands was broken into sometime between 5am and 6am on Thursday 9 January.
A police spokesperson from Alexandra CIU said the vehicle had since been recovered.
