CHILDREN at Avenel Kindergarten decided to raise awareness to prevent baby birds from being killed in traffic, and at the same time asked motorists to drive responsibly for them as well.
A hand illustrated sign was erected outside the kindergarten facing the road and the message read "Slow down for the baby birds please".
