LOCAL kindergartens in the Strathbogie region will be beneficiaries of a new play cart that will enhance social skills and creativity.
Avenel Kindergarten was the recipient of a Nüdel Kart - a deconstructable, mobile play kart that can be reconfigured in different ways - as part of a fundraising effort to help Australian Schools in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Educational leader Emma Larsen entered her school into the initiative, run by charity and social enterprise Playground Ideas, which looked to raise enough funds from the public to donate the play carts.
