SOME 73 charges against an 84-year-old Violet Town woman have been dropped after the court was advised of her death.
In July, the woman was found guilty of wildlife and cruelty offences related to the poisoning of native birds, mostly wedge-tailed eagles, and illegal possession of protected wildlife carcasses at her property in 2019.
The charges were struck out on Friday.
