Miepoll Cricket Club’s history to be remembered

ALL past players of the Miepoll Cricket Club and their families are welcome for their reunion on October 26 starting 3pm to 9pm at the Miepoll Hall.

Cricket was played in the Miepoll district from 1897, with the Miepoll Cricket Club officially formed in 1933 and played in the Arcadia Cricket Association between 1933 and 1935.

The club’s best effort was being runner up to Moorilim in the 1934 final where they lost by one run.

The club was reformed for the 1949/50 season for the Euroa and District Cricket Association B Grade competition, where they competed in that competition until 2000 playing in various grade
