Hayes is Hong Kong bound

Victorian trainer David Hayes, who oversees the Lindsay Park operation mainly based in Euroa, has confirmed he will head overseas to train next season at the Hong Kong Jockey Club 9HKJC).

Hayes’ newphew Tom Dabernig and his son Ben Hayes will continue the Lindsay Park operation in Australia.

“I’m really excited to announce that I’m taking up a trainer’s licence in 12 months time in the booming racing economy of Hong Kong,” Hayes said in an announcement on Lindsay Park’s YouTube channel.
