Longwood group needs more to become involved

THE refurbishment of the Old Fire Shed, the naming of the Max Cox bridge, the annual community picnic, a defibrillator outside the general store and the growth of the local ANZAC Day service are only some of the achievements of the Longwood Action Group in the last year.

But the group are looking for some fresh blood to help continue the good work around town ahead of their annual general meeting next week.

“We are a very inclusive group, enjoy doing what we do around town and what we advocate for but there is always room for more people to get involved” action group President Steve Tobin told the Gazette.
