Students bring characters to life

Euroa Primary School, St John’s Primary School and Violet Town Perambin Primary School Campus and Violet Town Kindergarton all got together for the book week festivities.

Principal of Euroa Primary School Ross Davis co-ordinated a ceremony on Friday August 16 where children from various years gave speeches about the positivity of literature and what they all enjoy about reading, and then paraded through town showing off their costumes to the community.

St John’s celebrated book week by surrounding the theme, “Reading Is My Superpower’.

Along with the school’s parade and ceremony on Monday August 19, St John’s welcomed visiting author Tony Wilson this past Monday sharing his experiences as an author.
