CONDITIONS weren’t the best on Saturday, June 29, but the Violet Town girls took it in their stride.
They started extremely well with the defenders winning the ball back and the shooters converting.
They headed into the first break with a three goal lead.
The second quarter was not VT’s quarter with Lancaster coming out from the first break firing and VT just couldn’t do anything right.
They restricted the Towners to two goals and scored nine of their own to take a four goal advantage into the main break.
