    NCOME OPP: Co-founder of YouCamp James Woodford wants caravan park and movable accommodation regulations adjusted so that farmers can benefit with extra income from having campers on their land.

    A CO-OWNER of the Euroa Caravan Park says improvements to regulations for parks like hers need to address the issue of shared economy camping, where land owners allow caravans to stay on a private property for a fee.

    Under current regulations in Victoria, every caravan park must be registered with their local council.

    However, economy camping services – which allows farmers and other landholders to list their properties online for guests with caravans to stay – do not need to do this and can circumvent current regulations.
