GO TAFE students from around the region have been recognised for their top performance, dedication and hard work at the annual trade awards last week.
Two Euroa women have come away with top spot’s in their trades, being nominated by their teachers throughout the schooling year.
One of the recipients was Euroa Hotel’s chef Alana Williams, who came away with two awards, “Outstanding Final Year Apprentice Hospitality (Commercial Cookery)” and “Hospitality Apprentice Achievement Award.
”After three years of what she described as “a lot of theory”, Mrs Williams said it’s nice to get some recognition at the end of it all.
“The last time I actually studied was back in high school, so to be able to do it all again and receive that recognition has just been great,” Mrs Williams said.
