A EUROA icon amongst the library community and anyone involved in Wednesday’s story time, Justus Hagan has bid farewell to 30 years in his role.
Living in Ruffy, the librarian didn’t have plans to stay in the community long when he first arrived, but he says now he couldn’t imagine leaving it.
The man of the people has spent the last 30 years providing advice and tips on a good novel, rearranging books, hearing wonderful stories and conducting his popular “story time” on a Wednesday morning.
“I love the area and the people and it’s just been a really great couple of years,” Mr Hagan said.
“I have a real interest in literature, books and technology and I guess that’s what has kept me coming back.”
