STUDENTS at St John’s Primary are benefiting from Euroa Secondary College’s (ESC) Expeditions program which sees year nine students taking part in a variety of activities including sports coaching.

Several ESC students have been spending time with St John’s students throughout the year, guiding them through a variety of sports activities.

The expeditions program also features fire brigade, back stage events, and agriculture.

St John’s physical education teacher Melinda Watson has five year nine students take sports classes on Tuesdays and seven students on Wednesdays.

The program has been running since the start of the year and will continue to run until the end of the year.

Melinda said that she has been working with the students to coach the younger kids for their upcoming athletics carnival.
