EUROA beef producer Sally Malloy knew from primary school that she wanted to be a farmer when she grew up.
Although she was raised in Melbourne, Ms Malloy had spent enough time on her grandparents’ hobby farm to know it was the life for her.
“I love animals and I love the country and being outside,” she said.
“It was a natural career choice for me.”
The path to a full-time business producing grass fed beef has taken Ms Malloy from the city to agricultural college, then on to university and a career in tertiary education.
She moved to Euroa with her husband Ryan and baby Charlie last year.
