THE Euroa Football Netball Club hosted another Euroa Gift on Saturday, March 14 with great success.
The Euroa Gift itself was bigger and better than in previous years with officials from the Victorian Athletics League working closely with Euroa Football Netball Club committee, members and sponsors to ensure a smooth running of the day.
Euroa Memorial Oval curator George Dyer once again had the track looking superb.
Following on from the Euroa Gift the Euroa Football Netball Club welcomed Airport West (connection here through former Euroa player and 1990 premiership team member Chris Daley) for a bout of practice matches under lights.
The under 18 Euroa boys took on their counterparts from Airport West in four 15 minute quarters from 6pm, with a very entertaining brand of open, fast football from both teams.
Airport West eventually ran out winners but coaches Brad Gleeson and Pat Horsburgh were duly impressed with the effort of their young side knowing that there were another six players that did not play and will certainly strengthen this line-up.
