THE Friendlies Recreation Reserve Committee of Management has for years been tirelessly working towards the renovation of the Friendlies Society Oval in Euroa.
For the past three-and-a-half years the small group have lobbied various levels of government for their support, and in 2015 released a Friendlies Oval Master Plan at significant cost to their slim budget.
The plans reveal their intention to completely overhaul the current facilities; including a new playing surface complete with white-picket fence, clubrooms, and outdoor amenities that will make the venue a haven for sport and recreation.
